Weight Loss
Over the years, one of the biggest complaints patients have when coming into see Dr. McDonald is centered on weight loss. For the last 3 years, this has become a focus of the practice. After significant research and trials, the clinic is pleased to offer several weight loss programs to suite your personal needs.
Transitions:
This is a 12 week educational course that meets for 1.5 hours per week. All classes are done in a group setting, but all measurements and weigh ins are done privately with the doctor or assistant. Sessions begin about every 6 weeks, so check with the office to see when the next information session begins.
I personally appreciate this program because of the educational nature of the classes. It teaches people about a new lifestyle and gives them all the tools necessary to maintain their desired weight for a lifetime.
Transformations:
This is a 6 week program which includes a strict diet along with nutritional supplementation to help with cravings and moods. This is a balanced protein to carb program which allows for a more rapid weight loss so you can see results quickly and know success.
I personally appreciate this program because of the dramatic results it can produce in 6 weeks when followed as directed.
The ideal program might just be a combination of the 2, beginning with Transformations and finishing up with Transitions so you can maintain your weight loss and leave weight struggles behind forever!
